The state or condition that something is already in, with no further changes or improvements. When used in the context of a sale or agreement, it implies that there is no guarantee or warranty as to the condition of something after purchase. I don't have time to add anything more to my term paper; I hope it's good enough as is. I bought the car as is from the seller, so I was out of luck when the engine fell apart two days later.

I think that sentence is ok - just leave it as is. Usage notes: Sometimes used to say that something being sold may not be perfect or may not work: We do not guarantee that the camera can be repaired - it is sold as is.
