BFD

BFD

An acronym for "big freaking deal," used sarcastically to mean not interesting, not important, or of no concern to the speaker. In more vulgar usage, F may stand for a profanity, thus making this acronym unsuitable to polite conversation or writing. A: "I heard they may raise tuition rates next year." B: "BFD, we'll have graduated by then, so it doesn't affect us in the slightest."

BFD

exclam. Big fucking deal!; So what? (Usually objectionable.) So, you’ve got serious money problems. BFD!
