An expression used to express praise and pride in what has just been done or accomplished by one's daughter, or, less often, one's girlfriend or another female with which one has a relationship of some kind. That's my girl, another report card with straight A's! It gave me a lot of encouragement to hear my parents shouting "That's my girl!" during the football game. You came to bail me out, sweetie? That's my girl!
