what it (all) comes down to

What it really amounts to is; what the most fundamental or basic aspect of it is. I know this has been a complex trial, but what it all comes down to in the end is whether or not a shadow of a doubt exists as to my client's guilt. I guess what it comes down to is a lack of communication between team members.
