Melesina

Perhaps a form of MILLICENT. It was borne by the Irish writer and socialite Melesina Trench (1768-1827).

The Normans introduced this name to England in the form Melisent or Melisende. Melisende was a 12th-century queen of Jerusalem, the daughter of Baldwin II.
